METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING MOVING ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling a moving electrode type electric precipitator which perform efficiently the work for installing a discharge frame and a moving electrode in a casing. SOLUTION: A driving wheel 29 for an moving electrode is installed at an upper position in a casing 29, and endless chains 31 of a pair of the moving electrode 15 (15A-15C) are suspended from the wheel 29. Next, dust collecting electrode plates 32 conveyed by using a conveying frame 42 are suspended from the opening of the ceiling into the casing 12, the plates 32 are fitted to the chain 31 continuously one by one at constant positions close to the wheel 29 to complete a loop as the entire moving electrode 15.
