PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the labor of searching for printing data by reading a commodity to be printed by a bar code reader and automatically selecting corresponding printing data. SOLUTION: Data of printing contents, printing specifications and printing formats are stored in one printing data. Moreover, a related number (or call number) is added as identification information for every printing data. Numerals (CN) corresponding to a commodity maker code and a commodity code are memorized and stored as bar code related data(BCD) for every individual object 8 to be printed. The related number as the identification corresponding information is set together with the CN for each individual commodity and, memorized and stored as the BCD. After processed by a Main MPU 9, the BCD is memorized and stored in an HDD(hard disk drive) 19. In printing with the use of the BCD, printing data can be automatically arranged by reading a bar code of the object 8 to be printed by a bar code reader 13. |
