PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device capable of preventing the vibration of the pump from transmitting through the floor, wall, pipes in a pump room at a low cost with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This vertical pump system is constituted so that a suction port 3 of a pump 2 suspended by a suspending pipe 5 is opened in a water tank 16, a discharge port 4 is opened in the lateral direction at the upper part of the water tank 16, and a flexible tube 7 is connected to the discharge port 4. The device is provided with a thrust receiving device (comprised of a holding plate 11, a vibration isolation device 12, and a fixing plate 13) receiving the thrust caused by the discharging pressure of the pump 2 and acting on the discharge port 4 at the suspending pipe 5 part.
