PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoconductive material having good mechanical properties in terms of both resilience and flexibility, exhibiting good thermal conductivity, and useful for promoting the heat release from exothermic elements such as electronic parts by kneading a silicone rubber into an organic synthetic rubber filled with a thermoconductive filler. SOLUTION: This thermoconductive material is obtained by kneading (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organic synthetic rubber (pref. an ethylene-propylene copolymer) filled with a thermoconductive filler with (B) pref. 25-400 pts.wt. of a silicone rubber; wherein the SP(solubility parameter) difference between the components A and B is pref. <=1. More precisely, it is preferable that this thermoconductive material is obtained by filling an organic synthetic rubber with a thermoconductive filler followed by kneading the resultant component A with the component B and then molding the kneaded product; the amount of oil to be added for making the kneading operation smoothly is pref. 20-10 pts.wt. based on a sum of 100 pts.wt. of the components A and B.
