PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary braking function, using a low-cost means in starting on a sloping road. SOLUTION: This brake device has slow stopper mechanisms 3, 3 in the midways of brake circuits B1, B2. The slow stopper mechanisms 3, 3 interlock with the slope of a vehicle in the back and forth direction to abut to a seat on a climbing road having a given slope value or more. There are provided balls 33 for restricting the distribution of a fluid in the brake circuit B1, B2, and restricting no distribution without abutting to the seat at less than the given slope value, bypass passages 37 provided in parallel with the balls 33, and check valves 34 provided in the bypass passages 37 and passing through the fluid in only the direction directed to wheel cylinders WC and interrupting the flow in the reverse direction.
