摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superb resistance to corrosion and chemical, outstanding bending fabrication properties and especially high resistance to end face by setting the discoloring region from the end face of a metal wire coated with a resin containing no chlorine when a saline solution spray test is conducted for a specific time, at a specific value and also setting the hardness by a durometer of the coated resin at a specific value. SOLUTION: A discoloring region from the end face of a metal wire coated with a resin containing no chlorine when a saline solution spray test is performed for 2,000 hours, is set to be 5 mm or less and the hardness of the coating resin by a durometer is set to be 65 to more. The resin to be used is preferably a copolymerized polyester resin from the viewpoint of its adhesive properties to a metal and the glass transition temperature is preferably 55 deg.C or higher and the reduced viscosity is preferably 0.5 dl/g or more. The copolymerized polyester preferably contains terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol from the viewpoint of resistance to corrosion and chemical. The materials for the metal wire are iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, titanium, zinc, chromium and an alloy thereof and especially, preferably iron and an alloy thereof considering productivity and cost. The diameter of the metal wire is preferably 0.5-5 mm.
