PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous electroplating device for steel strip which prevents 'coating failure' only by using one kind of back plate and one kind of small electrode plate. SOLUTION: Each electrode plate is furnished at its end with a nonconductive dummy plate 3 which extends in its whole length in the advancing direction of a steel strip, a back plate has a width equivalent to (the width of small electrodes 2×the number of small electrode plates 2 disposed in the width direction) + the width of the dummy plate 3, and a length equivalent to (the length of the small electrode plates 2×the number of the small electrode plates 2 allocated in the lengthwise direction), bolts connecting the back plate and the small electrode plates 2 are disposed, at the end of the back plate where the dummy plate 3 is not placed, at positions of at least two points which are in point symmetry with respect to the center of the remained part given by subtracting the part equivalent to the dummy plate 3 from the end of the small electrode plate 2, and further at positions where the internal equal to the distance between the two symmetrical points is repeated in both the width direction and the lengthwise direction, and the plural electrode plates 2 are used by disposing them in a manner that the dummy plates 3 alternatively exist left and right in the direction of the advance of the steel strip.
