PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier inexpensive and simple in structure by constituting the water purifier with a city water hose cut in a proper length, a granular or powdery water purifying functional material filled in the hose and a filter for covering at least one opening of the hose and using a nonwoven fabric obtained by forming the filter in taper form. SOLUTION: In the water purifier 1, one of the tips of the city water hose 2 looks like being covered with the filter 3 and also fixed with an adhesive tape 4 and the granule of activated carbon 5 and the particulates of marble 6 are filled in the city water hose 2 having about 15 cm length by the proportion of 9:1 by weight ratio. A cap 7 is put on the other opening of the city water hose 2. The cap 7 has a spacer part 71 inserted about 3 cm in the city water hose 2 to secure the gap zone for attaching a faucet at the time of inserting the faucet. The filter 3 is made of a nonwoven fabric having the form like a cup, and the filter is externally fitted to the city water hose 2 and also fixed with the adhesive tape 4. The filter 3 may be fixed with a rubber band and a metal wire in stead of the adhesive tape 4.
