PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorant composition for permanent wave having stability and masking effect for effluvium caused by mercapto compounds during and after perming treatment. SOLUTION: This deodorant composition is obtained by including one or more selected from dimetol, paracresyl acetate, ethyltricyclo[5.2.1.02.6]decan-2-yl carboxylate, tricyclodecenyl acetate, 3,3-dimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone and phenylethylisoamyl eter.
