PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base cloth for ink-jet dyeing capable of forming a distinct pattern free from bleeding by an ink-jet process using an ink having low viscosity and obtain an ink-jet dyed product. SOLUTION: This base cloth for ink-jet dyeing is a woven fabric having a cover factor of 1,265-3,584 and produced by using multifilament yarn having a total denier of 11-167 dtex as the warp and the weft. The woven fabric dyed by ink jet dyeing is produced by using a woven fabric having a cover factor of 1,265-3,584 and produced by using multifilament yarn having a total denier of 11-167 dtex as the warp and the weft.
