PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of reducing excess water through preheating by dry heating and improving the fluidity of the sterilization object, thereby enabling the reduction of drying capacity of the aftertreatment, reducing lumps of the sterilization object to the utmost, enabling the shortening of sterilization time or the like, and suppressing the quality change (deterioration) of the sterilization object. SOLUTION: This sterilizer has the following structure: a tightly closed casing has a sterilization object-feeding port 2 at the upper end and a sterilization object- discharging port 3 at the lower end; a rotary mixing tube extending from the feeding port to the discharging port is placed inside the casing; steam-feeding tubes are placed in the casing; rotary rollers supporting the mixing tube is placed on a frame; the frame is made freely demountable by allowing it to move on rails placed inside the casing; and a spiral coil, which connects the inside of the mixing tube and the sterilization object-feeding port and which is covered with a tube, is placed in the casing in a freely removable manner. A preheating means by dry heating is placed before the sterilization object-feeding port, the means heats the air which is introduced from an outer air taking port 97 with a heater 98, and the heated air and the sterilization object are together fed to a cyclone 82 by a screw feeder 99. |
