BODY FRAME OF INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacture of a body frame of an industrial vehicle such as a forklift truck constructed of thick steel plates, to reduce the cost of the body frame, and to increase degrees of freedom of design thereof. SOLUTION: A plurality of steel plates 6, 7 each being moldable using a normal press and having sufficient weight and a thickness of 4 to 9 mm and molded into a free shape by press working are bonded together and joined by spot welding 10 or the like to fabricate a strength member such as a side member 5 with fully increased rigidity. A plurality of strength members are connected together to constitute a body frame.
