PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dampening water supply device which is capable of easily adjusting the quantity of dampening water. SOLUTION: This dampening supply device 14 comprises a water through 30 for storing dampening water, a water fountain roller 31 arranged in such a manner that a part of the roller 31 is immersed in the water trough 30, a watering roller 32 arranged in such a way that it can be brought into contact with a printing plate on a plate cylinder 10, an intermediate roller 33 which is arranged between the water fountain roller 31 and the watering roller 32 and delivers the dampening water by coming into contact with both rollers 31, 32 and a nip pressure adjusting means 34 which adjusts a nip pressure between the water fountain roller 31 and the intermediate roller 33. On one of the ends of the intermediate roller 33, a gear 40 for drive is fixedly installed and on the other end, a rocking cam 41 is fixedly installed. The gear 40 is driven to rotate by a motor 42 for driving the intermediate roller 33. On the other hand, the rocking cam 41 has a groove formed obliquely on the peripheral face of the cam 41 and a cam follower 44 with a sliding part which is slidable in the groove is fixedly installed on a second side plate 37' fixed to a right side plate 37.
