SOLUTION: In an industrial robot, a teaching point to show a position and attitude of a tool 12 mounted to a robot arm 11 is artificially taught using a simulation function of a control device 14. In the simulation function, a line segment of a surface and an irregular part of a work model is detected to easily produce the teaching point and efficiently teach.
