PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single ended wrench not coming-off of a nut easily even when a worker takes own hand off the single ended wrench. SOLUTION: One end of a barlike handle 4 of a single ended wrench 100 is branched into two portions, and a U-shaped arm 8 having two parallel and opposing inner planes 9 is provided. Stoppers 4a, 4b are provided by leaving a clearance 30 from the inner planes 9 between an opposing part and them. A dimension D of the clearance 30 of the stoppers 4a, 4b is larger than a diameter of a bolt 11 and is smaller than a distance between opposing sides of a nut so that the single ended wrench 100 does not comes off from the nut easily during work.
