PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply works in plate form having an opening by separating one by one from a condition that plural plate like works are hung down at their opening edges. SOLUTION: This work supplying device is equipped with a work supporting member 6 consisting of a rod-shaped stock part 60 supporting a plurality of plate-like works in the hung-down condition and a cutout part 61 at the tip of the stock part 60, wherein the two parts 60 and 61 are arranged in line on the same axis. The cutout part 61 is provided with male threads whose major and minor diameters are greater and smaller, respectively, than the outside diameter of the tip of stock part 60. At least the cutout part 61 of the work supporting member 6 is made rotatable, and works hung down at the opening edge Wc of the stock part 60 are sent off one by one with the rotation of the cutout part 61.
