Date Sep. 18, 1997The present invention refers to conjugates formed by a natural or modified oligonucleotide, capable of forming a triple helix with a DNA chain, linked to the aglycone moiety of an anthracycline or to an anthracyclinone via an appropriated linker; such conjugates are capable to bind selectively to specific DNA regions inhibiting their transcription and therefore the formation of the corresponding codified protein.
