PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for medical purposes without possibility of damaging a hand or arm by mistake in containing a hollow needle into a protector after once opening the protector enclosing the hollow needle, and a medical apparatus provided with the needle. SOLUTION: This needle for medical purposes 1 comprises a hollow needle assembly provided with a hollow needle 2, and a hub to support a base end part of the hollow needle 2, a tube 9 connected to the hub 3, and a hollow needle assembly containing member 6 comprising a first opening part 61 in which the hollow needle assembly can be contained on the tip side, and a second opening part 67 in which the tube 9 penetrates on the base end side. The hollow needle assembly containing member 6 is provided with an engagement part 63 to be moved toward the tip end side of the hollow needle 2 on the tube 9 for the whole body of the hollow needle assembly to be contained, and be engaged with the hub 3 as the whole body of the hollow needle assembly is contained for restricting removal of the hollow needle assembly. |
