<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to change a dynamic lye angle as effective and to correct a hooker or a slicer and the like of which the hit ball has some wrong direction by setting a head gravity center within the scope that a specific formula can be satisfied. SOLUTION: In a wood club head that has a regular lye angleθand a loft angle, the point where a shaft axis and a ground line cross is determined as the origin. In the case of supposing an orthogonal coordinates of which the horizontal shaft is the ground line that extends from the origin toward the side of a toe, the vertical distance from the ground line to a head gravity center 2 is determined as the height of the gravity HG. The horizontal distance from the end of the toe to the bead gravity center 2 is determined as the position of the gravity center XG, and, the horizontal distance from the end of the toe to the origin is as the face length L. At that time, the height of the gravity HG and the position of the gravity center XG is formed as they satisfy the relation of the formula; HG>=(HG-L)tan(θ)+A. In the formula, A is determined as the value that satisfies A=1.2N+74.2 in the case the number of the club is N.</p> |
