CONTROL BASED ON STATE BY PRINTER DRIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a more appropriate performance for a specific state of a printer when printing. SOLUTION: A printer driver obtains the present state of a printer in response to the start of a print job. Before the print job is started, an operation parameter of the printer is changed from a default value on the basis of the obtained present state of the printer. Moreover, the printer driver changes based on the state of the printer its own operation sequence from a default operation sequence when state information is absent.
