REGENERATED HEATING LARGER-SIZED ASPHALT MIXTURE AND ITS PRODUCTION AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD OF PAVEMENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain an asphalt mixture capable of applying for the base layer and the upper layer of a road bed by mixing a fresh aggregate for supplement, fresh asphalt and an asphalt regenerated aggregate, controlling the synthetic aggregate to have a specific particle diameter distribution and adjusting the asphalt mixture to have a specific designed penetration with the quantity of the fresh asphalt. SOLUTION: A regenerated heating large-sized asphalt mixture is obtained by mixing the heated fresh aggregate for supplement with the fresh asphalt in dry state and after spray coating, adding the preheated asphalt regenerated aggregate to be mixed in wet state. At this time, the particle size of the synthetic aggregate is controlled to be in the range of a mass percentage passing through each prescribed mesh size. The designed penetration of the regenerated asphalt composed of the old asphalt regenerated from the asphalt regenerated aggregate and the fresh asphalt is adjusted using the fresh asphalt without using the an additive for regeneration to 35±5 (25 deg.C, 1/10 min). The blending ratio of the asphalt regenerated aggregate is controlled to 60 wt.% of total aggregate and desirably used in a large quantity as much as possible.
