<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a black recording liquid which is excellent in safety, has a high water solubility, is stable even in a long-term storage, gives a print image having a high density, and is excellent in resistances to water and light by incorporating a polyazo compound or its salt into the same. SOLUTION: A polyazo compound of the formula (wherein D1 and D2 are each optionally substituted 2,4-dihydroxyphenyl-1-azo; and m is 0 or 1) or its salt is incorporated, This polyazo compound is suitable for dyeing textile materials based on a blend of natural and synthetic fibers and is excellent in dyeing leather in a dark color, After the compound is isolated by spray drying a reaction liquid containing the compound or after the compound is taken out of the reaction solution by crystallization, the compound can be converted into an ink composition. The composition contains 0.1-20 wt.% polyazo compound, 0-30 wt.% water-soluble organic solvent, 0-5 wt.% ink-adjusting agent, and water.</p> |
