PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a pallet at the fixed place of an elevator lifting-lowering base without complicating structure and increasing equipment cost, and to rapidly feed traverse the pallet between the elevator lifting-lowering base and a housing shelf. SOLUTION: Four fixed blocks 29 are fixed at positions corresponding to four corners on the pallet P short-side sides of the elevator lifting-lowering base 7. When the elevator lifting-lowering base 7 receives a car-loaded pallet or an empty pallet P from a turning equipment by the lifting operation of the turning equipment, the fixed blocks 29 are brought into contact with the pallet P short-side sides from the outside and the place of the car-loaded pallet or the empty pallet P is moved and corrected to a fixed place.
