PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine for sewing a belt loop which is capable of easily changing the moving positions of a pair of bending shafts. SOLUTION: This sewing machine has a sewing machine body 2, a loop supply means 40 and a control means. The loop supply means 40 includes a pair of the bending shafts 70, drive means 72a and 72b for bending, a bending shaft moving means 85 which moves a pair of the bending shafts 70 back and forth in such a manner that the bending shafts can stop at least at a sewing position, loop folding position and retreat position, and a drive means 90 for movement which drives the bending shaft moving means 85 in such a manner that the moving means can be controlled to an arbitrary position. The control means controls the drive quantity of the drive means 90 for movement in order to control the moving position of a pair of the bending shafts 70 and is so constituted that at least one among the moving positions consisting of the sewing position of a pair of the bending shafts 70, the loop folding position and the retreat position can be changed.
