<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport system having a high self-standing property with respect to the system of upper order, comparatively easy to make additional installation of a transport line, and having high flexibility to manage with eventual trouble occurrence. SOLUTION: A transport system is equipped with a plurality of transporting facilities 7a and 7b to form a transporting line and facility controllers 1a and 1b installed in the respective transporting facilities, and transport of objects 8 (8a) is conducted while the facilities are controlled by respective controllers on the basis of the transport command given from a system of upper order 4 via an upper order LAN 5. The controllers are equipped with memory means 2a and 2b for storing the tracking data concerning the object to be transported and also a facility LAN 6 to connect the controller with each other directly. It is arranged so that different pieces of tracking data can be stored commonly by the respective controllers in their memory means through the facility LAN.</p> |
