PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a wire net conveyor consisting of parallel wires. SOLUTION: A number of transverse wires 4 made of stainless steel provided with a tab 5 as a guide for running formed by folding the side end and a bend 6 for engagement in the middle about the longitudinal direction are laid parallel, and the bends 6 of adjoining wires are engaged with each other to generate coupling, and thereby a wire net intermediate product is yielded capable of being bent in the longitudinal direction, and this intermediate product is immersed in a carbonitriding chemical solution heated to a temperature under the softenig point, and through heating and carbonitriding process, the residual stress in the transverse wires 4 generated at processing and shaping is removed and also the toughness is heightened, and surface molecules are prevented from segregation.
