PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile chassis tightening system that is high in tightening-angle freedom with tightened elements, creates no organization loss in production lines, and is small in occupation area and equipment investment. SOLUTION: This automobile chassis tightening system for tightening chassis components tacked in advance on the bottom of a body 40 carried along a production line in the support of an overhead hanger 30, comprises a carriage support 20 disposed along the path of the overhead hanger 30, a nut runner support device 1 movable along the carriage support 20, a nut runner 2 fixed to the nut runner support device 1, and a flexible tube 5 having one end connected to the nut runner 2 and the other provided with a socket 4 for engaging an element to tighten it, and having a power transmission mechanism for transmitting power at the output shaft of the nut runner 2 to the socket 4 via an arbitrarily changeable path.
