PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact a sample collecting device for analyzing chlorinated organic compounds and to facilitate handling. SOLUTION: This sample collecting device is composed of a collecting tube 1 to collect exhaust gases which occur from incineration facilities, a capturing body 2 to capture chlorinated organic compounds in a particulate state and a gaseous state in the exhaust gases simultaneously, and a collecting device main body 6 provided an opening part 3 for housing the capturing body 2 at one side and a connecting opening 5 to an exhaust gas suction means 4 at the other side. Then the sample collecting device is provided with a mounting means to mount the capturing body 2 detachably and airtightly to the collecting tube 1.
