The invention relates to the field of heat detectors i.e. to an uncooled matrix heat detector having a given spectral range of sensitivity and being comprised of pixels which are thermally isolated from each other, whereby each pixel comprises a heat-sensitive absorbent element (2) within the given spectral range of sensitivity. On the side (20) of each heat-sensitive absorbent element (2) facing the incident radiation which is to be detected, the detector also comprises a bi-periodic network (3) of elementary bricks (30) limiting the angle of vision of said detector, whereby the increment size (a) of the network is smaller than the average wavelength ( lambda 0) of the spectral range of sensitivity. The invention can be used in BLIP uncooled heat detectors. |
