The identification system consists of an electronic label inserted into each of the garments on a moving conveyor and a dynamic communications system able to read and/or write the data on the labels and comprising at least one moving antenna. An automatic identification system consists of an electronic label (1) inserted into each of the garments (2) on a moving conveyor (4), and a dynamic communications system able to read and/or write the data on the labels and comprising at least one moving antenna (7). The antenna is able to perform a movement (100) which intersects the trajectory (10) of the conveyor and is connected to control and excitation circuits. An electronic system (9) controlling the movement and excitation of the antenna incorporates a programmable automatic unit with at least one extendable and retractable pneumatic cylinder, monitors and alarms.
