PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce the number of backboard signal lines in a clock distribution device for selectively distributing plural kinds of clock signals to respective packages. SOLUTION: A clock board 1 including clock generation parts such as synchronizing oscillators (PLO) 3-1 to 3-3 for generating plural kinds of clock signals, a selector 4 and a control part 6 and plural packages 2-1 to 2-n are packaged in the clock distribution device, the selector 4 on the clock board 1 is connected to packages 2-1 to 2-n corresponding to respective packaged positions through individual clock signals 8-1 to 8-n, the selector 4 is controlled from the control part 6 on the basis of the packaging information ID1 to IDn of respective packages 2-1 to 2-n, and clock signals to be used for respective packages 2-1 to 2-n are decided and distributed through individual clock signal lines 8-1 to 8-n. |
