PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data unloading method for a network data base which is a general purpose data base transition assisting utility capable of coping with every schemer of the network data base. SOLUTION: A parameter file 101 given as input is analyzed, a schemer, a record type in the schemer and output destination of an unloading file 104, etc., are acquired by the data base transition assisting utility program 11. Next, an object schemer 102 is analyzed based on this acquired piece of information, record structure, field structure and set structure are acquired. And record occurrence of the record type is detected by trading a data base file 103, and data of a field with a data type, for example, in a non-text form are outputted to the unloading file 104 while converting the data into a text form capable of being recognized by most data loaders.
