PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dusts or machining remains stuck to a disk bearing by bringing the outer peripheral edge into contact with only an outer diameter supporting section including a surface supporting part and a separate member during the loading of a recording medium. SOLUTION: In a disk bearing 1, a disk D is supported by an outer diameter reference pin 8A or 8B, and thus the disk D is loaded away from an outer diameter reference part. Also, since a tapered part 3 and the outer diameter reference pins 8A and 8B are independently formed, in the outer peripheral surface of the disk D supported by the tapered part 3, a corresponding edge is not supported simultaneously by the outer diameter reference pins 8A and 8B, and thus the disk D is not loaded on the tapered part 3 impossible to be machined smoothly for its surface because of a machining limit. Thus, no dust or machining remains are stuck to this part, the surface of the tapered part 3 is easily machined to be smooth because of the independent formation of each part, and even dusts or machining remains are stuck, they are easily removed.
