PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatistic back layer for a polyolefin-coated photographic printing paper capable of improving close adhesiveness to a printing paper and giving splicing aptitude and a backmark holding characteristics. SOLUTION: The support of a photographic element has a first surface and a second surface, each coated with a polyolefin film, at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the first surface, and a primer layer containing a copolymer of primary amine adduct salts on the first or second surface. The paper base of a photographic paper has a first surface and a second surface, each coated with a polypropylene film, at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the first surface of the base, and a primer layer containing a film-forming polymer binder containing a copolymer of primary amine adduct salts and having a peeling strength of >=200 g on the first or second surface.
