PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change over between the manual operation and the electric driving of a diaphragm without using a diaphragm mode changeover switch. SOLUTION: When a diaphragm control signal is inputted from a television camera 10 at the time of manual driving, the diaphragm driving operation is changed over from the manual operation to the electric driving. Namely, when it is desired to perform diaphragm control by electric driving, a diaphragm control signal outputted from the camera 10 is changed, and when it is desired to manually perform the diaphragm control, the diaphragm control signal is fixed, whereby manual/electric driving is automatically changed over.
