PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bubble tube device in which the adjusting operation of a vertical bubble tube can be performed in such a way that the cover and the packing of a hollow support which supports the collimating telescope of a surveying instrument are not shaped complicatedly and that the cover is not removed. SOLUTION: The vertical bubble tube 22 which is installed at the hollow support 14 of a horizontal rotating frame 13 and its inclination adjusting mechanism are installed independently of a cover. That is to say, the vertical bubble tube 22 and the inclination adjusting mechanism are supported by one out of a left hollow support and a right hollow support 14 independently of the cover of the hollow support, the adjusting part of the inclination adjusting mechanism is installed in a position which can be adjusted from the outside of the hollow support and the cover. A window which observes the vertical bubble tube 22 is formed in the cover of the hollow support which is provided with the vertical bubble tube 22.
