PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device of high power factor and high efficiency which includes a rectified power source and a half-bridge type inverter circuit. SOLUTION: This inverter device contains a pair of series capacitors 51, 52 for an arm for constituting a half-bridge type inverter circuit. A discharge limiting circuit 60 for limiting the angle of electrical continuity in the discharge direction of each of the capacitors 51, 52 are installed. During the discharge period of the capacitors 51, 52, an ordinary inverter circuit functions. During discharge limiting period, a rectified power source 10 current in matching with an inductive load 40 current flows, and rectified power source 10 power supply (power supply from the rectified power source 10) is demanded. |
