PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide illumination light allowing reduction in a scattering and diffusing effect of emission light rays by positioning microprisms within a lighting system. SOLUTION: This lighting system has an incident end for receiving incident light rays 2 into a plate 1; an arrangement of pieces of microprisms 3 for receiving the incident light rays 2 and generating emission light rays from the incident light rays 2; and the plate 1 for guiding the incident light rays 2 into the plate 1. The arrangement of the microprisms 3 is positioned within the plate 1.
