PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp enhanced with light emitting efficiency and design property and to provide a luminaire using the same. SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp L1 is provided with a glass tube bulb 1, a plurality of recessed parts 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E and 3F intermittently formed on the outer peripheral of the glass tube bulb 1 along the tube axis in multiple rows, a phosphor film formed on the inner surface of the glass tube bulb 1, a discharge electrode 6 provided on the glass tube bulb 1 and a discharge medium sealed inside the glass tube bulb 1. A luminaire is mounted with the fluorescent lamp L1. |
