PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have quickly preceed oxidation-reduction reaction even with a high capacity, high energy density and under a room temperature by including at least one of sulfur or lithium-containing sulfur of a specific composition and a metal complex of an organic sulfur compound having a thiol group or a thiolate group in a molecule. SOLUTION: Lithium-containing sulfur is expressed by a formula: (LixS)n (wherein, (x) and (n) are numbers larger than 0). By combining sulfur or lithium- containing sulfur is with a metal complex (M-SS) of an organic sulfur compounded and an organic sulfur compound (SS), high reversibility is obtained at high using rate of 80% or more. A high battery voltage of 3 V or more is provided by combining elemental sulfur with M-SS or SS. (Poly)thiolate anion of M-SS and SS and (poly)thiolate anion of elemental sulfur are doped with polyaniline to form a conductor. The conductive route of electrons is formed in the combined electrode composition on molecular level. |
