PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely store an instantaneous change in plant data and to improve the compression ratio of data. SOLUTION: The recording method temporarily stores plant data fetched from a plant 1 at a fixed fetch period (sampling period) in a data temporary part 4, obtains the secondary change ratio of the plant data at each unit time by using the temporarily stored plant data and stores the plant data at each unit time when the secondary change ratio is larger than a storage judging value.
