摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the thickness of a light transparent layer uniform, to lessen the optical heterogeneity in the thickness direction of the light transparent layer and to suppress the occurrence of warpage of an optical information medium having an information recording surface on a supporting substrate surface and having the light transparent layer consisting of a resin on the information recording surface. SOLUTION: The light transparent layer 2 of this optical information medium is constituted by curing the resin layer containing a UV curing cationic resin. At the time of production of such optical information medium, the light transparent layer is formed by repeating the coating application of the resin and the curing or drying thereof plural times, by which the uniformity of the thickness of the light transparent layer may be further improved. In addition, the warpage quantity may be further reduced. The method of repeating the coating application of the resin and the curing or drying thereof plural times is effective even in the case resins exclusive of the UV curing cationic resin are used.
