PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a simple gain control circuit that has a wide dynamic range, an excellent temperature characteristic and high gain control accuracy. SOLUTION: The gain control circuit is provided with gain control sections 2, 3 that has a characteristic where a gain versus temperature characteristic is fluctuated depending on a circuit gain control signal amount and with gain control signal generating section 1a that outputs gain control signals 5, 6 to control a gain of the gain control sections 2, 3, the gain control section 2, 3 are connected in series. The simple gain control circuit can be configured, which has a wide dynamic range and an excellent temperature characteristic by giving a prescribed offset to the gain control signals 5, 6.
