PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air up-and-down circulating device capable of eliminating surely a temperature difference between the upper part and the lower part in a room with a simple device. SOLUTION: The frame 22 of an air up-and-down circulating device 18 is formed so as to have the shape of a triangular prism while the inside of the pillar is hollow and formed so as to be an air flow passage 26. The frame 22 is extended up-and-down from a floor 12 to a ceiling 16 and a lower end opening 28 is provided at the lower end of the frame 22 while an upper end opening 30 is provided at the upper end of the frame 22 and louvers 32 are incorporated into respective openings 28, 30 so as to be pivotal and controllable. A motor fan 24 is arranged in the air flow passage 26 and air on the floor 12 is sucked through the lower end opening 28 by the normal rotation of the motor fan 24 to blow the same off from the upper end opening 30 to the vicinity of the ceiling 16. On the other hand, the device is constituted so that the air near the ceiling 16 is sucked from the upper end opening 30 by the reverse rotation of the motor fan 24 and is blown off onto the floor 12 through the lower end opening 28. |
