PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna with a long service life and high reliability that is used for a mobile radio equipment. SOLUTION: The spring characteristic of a conductive spring 21 can be enhanced by increasing an effective elastic length of each arm part 21D of the conductive spring 21 in a manner not conflicting with the dimensional restriction of a radio equipment attended with miniaturization and lightening through the adoption of the configuration of the conductive spring 21 made of an elastic metallic plate processed to be nearly cylindrical in a way that two ring shaped parts 21A, 21B are interconnected by a plurality of linear connection parts 21C at a prescribed interval, a cantilever arm 21D from the one ring shaped part 21A is provided between the connection parts 21c, and a nearly middle part of each arm 21D is folded to be dogleg so as to be projected to a center of the nearly cylindrical shape. Thus, the antenna with high reliability can be provided, where possibility of deterioration in the spring characteristic of the conductive spring due to the use for a long period or a bent force sometimes exerted to the antenna when the antenna is extended can be precluded.
