A video decoder 104 performs decode processing of MPEG2 to video data DL inputted from a demultiplexer 103 and outputs decoded video data to a display control part 109. In this case, the display control part 109 displays images corresponding to video data inputted from the video decoder 104, an EPG picture constitution part 108 and a UI picture constitution part 111 on an image display part 112 while switching or multiplexing pictures corresponding to the operation of an operating part 114.
