PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically acquiring the initial speed data, using a device inside the shell, just after shooting the shell. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a ground fixed transmission mean 5 radiating electric waves having a beam 6 toward the sky and electric wave receiving means having beams 4a, 4b mounted on a shell 3 flying with a rotation given by a rifle provided in a barrel. The initial speed is calculated by measuring the rotation speed of the shell based on a change of received intensity of the electric waves just after the shell leaves the barrel. |
