PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely extract a dotted line though some of isolated vertexes constituting the dotted line are not extracted by judging the propriety of the candidate of the dotted line from the positional relation of a group of the isolated vertexes of extracted dotted line candidates. SOLUTION: An image scanner 1 reads a slip to convert it to a binary picture and an isolated vertex collecting part 20 executes isolated point extracting processing to all the points of the binary picture. A dotted line candidate extracting part 21 extracts isolated vertexes constituting the candidate of a dotted line. As the condition of the candidate of the dotted line, the positional relation between basically two adjacent isolated vertexes is judged. Namely, as the condition of the dotted line candidate, a distance, a shifting quantity and the difference of sizes between the two isolated vertexes are judged. A dotted line propriety checking part 22 compares the distance between the adjacent vertexes from the positional relation of the group of the whole vertexes to check the propriety of the dotted line. When these prescribed conditions are satisfied, further the inclination of the dotted line is checked. Thus, the dotted line can be extracted though some of the isolated vertexes constituting the dotted line are omitted.
|
