PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally record image and sounds by expressing line-of-sight correction display for calling a correction in the line-of-sight direction of a person to be photographed inside an image under displaying on a display panel. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 2 of a video camera apparatus is inverted toward the person to be photographed, so that the person to be photographed can monitor his own confronting photographic image. When the liquid crystal panel 2 is inverted and directed toward the person to be photographed, an inversion mark 22 is displayed as shown on a monitor picture. When a photographer feels that the line of sight or face of the person to be photographed has turned excessively toward the liquid crystal panel 2 and is not natural, the photographer outputs instruction display 23 calling for the correction of the line-of-sight on the monitor picture as shown in the figure by depressing an instruction switch. Then, the person to be photographed notices that his own glance is unnatural and makes the line of sight deviate in the instructed direction.
