PLATE MAKING METHOD FOR CTF AND CTP WORK FLOWS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plate making method by which image can be reproduced satisfactorily and efficiently, without impairing its feature when the image are printed by using an AM or FM screen. SOLUTION: In this method for making a lithographic plate for forming dots by the use of an AM or FM screen, the amount of the gains which occur from a dot image plate making process to dot image printing process is comprehended, and tone correction is performed in batch by means of an RIP based on a tone curve in all areas from an area, having a dot area ratio of 1% to an area having a dot area ratio of 100% at the time of making a digital plate in a CTF or CTP work flow.
